In the fight against the corona epidemic, the NSS unit of the Government College Rajgarh organized a poster making competition to make everyone aware to ensure their own participation. 11 students of the college participated in this while staying at home and made posters and sent them to the NSS unit from social media. The theme of this competition, which appealed to every citizen of the country to contribute on their own level against the epidemic, was 'All will give together only then will the matter'. In Pratyagita, BA first year student Madhavi Rathore got first and BSc first year student Nikita Sharma got second place. Nandini Jaswal and Vandana Chandel finished jointly at the third place. The NSS volunteers of the college are contributing in various ways in the fight against the epidemic. A campaign to make people aware was started from the time of lockdown. Along with the symptoms and prevention of Kovid-19, the importance of social distance was also conveyed to the society. The volunteers have distributed over 300 masks to the needy so far. People were told the right way to wash their hands and they were encouraged to register on the Arogya Setu App. On the other hand, self-help priya Bhandari, Rupal Negi, Akash and Vandana Chandel have taken the initiative to send assistance from their pocket money to the Chief Minister Relief Fund. All these efforts are being made under the guidance of Prof. Indira Daroch, a college professor. He congratulated the winners of this poster making competition and said that awareness is the most effective weapon against the Karona epidemic and volunteers have played an important role in this direction. NSS Program Officer Dr. Jagdeep Verma thanked all the participants for making it successful by participating in this competition and thanked Dr. Narendra Thakur and Prof. Govind Singh Negi for the poster assessment.
